Who/What/Where

My name is Hanna Myers; I am a young artist and student currently living in the heart of the Emerald City. I am inspired by origin stories, the natural sciences and every delicious mystery of the human subconscious. What drives my creative process are the questions humankind is collectively incapable of answering with certainty. Questions without solutions nurture fantasy and fiction.

I work with naturally derived materials such as oil, wax, wood, metals and clay as well as plant and animal matter. Painting and sculpture are my first loves, though I often experiment with printmaking and various other media that pique my interest.

This blog acts as a liquid record of my creative process, a place to share my successes, failures and inspirations. Most of all, I want this blog to stir imaginations and spark conversation about what it means to create.
